Gaila met Strange Quark on the bus ride to school on the first day of middle school where they immediately bonded over their mutual love of all things science and sci fi. as their lives progressed they got closer until they started dating in high school. after discovering “the grid” Strange Quark got injured by a corrupt program and she had to carry him to the ponyville hospital where he got his cybernetic eye, Gaila was by his side throughout recovery
after She and Strange Quark meet InkPot i kinda got into that with Strange Quark’s description and backstory. but Gaila pursues a career in ALL fields of science from biology and medicine to astronomy and physics
also the inspiration behind Gaila’s personality and my mental voice for her are just Star Trek Lower decks science officer D’vana Tendi
