@Meanlucario
But its story is 100% fantasy writing, cuz its all about rebel vs kingdom with the futuristic setting as the background noise. Its not like Starblazer and Macross, where they have scientific lesson and atleast an effort to put some technobabbles in their shows. But star wars doesnt have it, which explicitly shows that its technologies are literal background only for eye candies.
I do agree the fact people will consider something scifi when its about firing laser or drifting spaceship in the space. But star wars is a different anomaly of scifi realm.

Most people consider it sci-fi because itβs space ships firing laser rifles and using high tech equipment. Itβs very close to sci-fi in the practical sense.
Star wars isnt scifi, even Lucas stated that its just fantasy in space. Basically not even science fantasy, because the technologies there are just eye candy and dont have any depth of scientific law in them.
Guess base on the subject. If youβre wrong, someone will correct you at worst.
What forums should i put it?
