I’ve been relegating work on PR to “night time streams” on Fridays and Saturdays, because I’m up late anyway, need to stay awake for something else. But with winter coming closer, that ‘something’ is no longer necessary. But I already wrote an IOU for “One out of season night stream weekend.” I don’t really want to sink too much blood and sweat into PR’s drone level, so everything will be in basic color quality because that will be easier on me. (Except for some final frames, or maybe a game over that I want to slip in there.) No, you won’t have to wait until next year for this, princess rescue work will still be somewhat intermittent, and juggling the Dorice update for Sala’s Escape.

“But I thought Sala’s Escape updates were-” Still going to be worked on. But for Princess rescue, expect it to get a bit…. lighter in the graphics department. If I have to keep doing full blown color CGs for every single fucking frame and every single battler, I’m going to climb a belltower in austin.

I will say though, I cooked up some ideas for the maid level. Another pathway to the key… if you like horse racing. And by horse racing, I mean YOU are the horse. Hope you like racing obstacles.

This is just a commission, it’s not canon to Princess Rescue. After whatever game over you get, the changelings are the last free creatures in all of equestria that has any hope in hell of standing against King Sombra and his trio. So if a scenario like this plays out, Equestria is utterly fucked. Dragons don’t stand a chance, yaks don’t stand a chance, gryphons don’t stand a chance, the hypogryphs are far too isolated to be bothered (but King Sombra will get them in time) and those Kluge and cat people down south… yeah, they’re screwed too. Just : next time you fail, the fate of all of equestria, and beyond, crashes upon the shoulders of one cute changey bug boy. So try not to fuck things up. Do it for bug boy.
