i debated making him a zebra or not but i decided to go for it when i found out the character is from somalia apparently. a fact i did not know until looking it up. there are characters who are black coded who are not zebra, but zecora is specifically coded as african. so this checks out i think.
i specifically avoid making ponies with flesh colored coats, and i avoid wherever possible making their hair a copy of their human hair unless their human hair is already a weird color. i decided to make an exception for data because it makes him look like a freak /pos
