also i wanted to make a clarification about some of the law surrounding cutiemark tampering and cutiemark fraud. cake’s cutiemark has been tampered with, but the original cutiemark is mostly intact so the case for cutiemark tampering is thin. also it’s unlikely any action taken with it will constitute cutiemark fraud. if there was another pony who has this exact cutiemark, and cake could be proven to be knowingly assuming their identity, then that would be fraud. if confetti used their cutiemark to get a job as the ceo of a confetti manufacturer, then that may also constitute fraud, but the case would be thin given the similarity of balloons to confetti.
