I take it that was a stressful day as well, or there is something about it that adds an additional dire interpritation to…Oh, wait, getting his cutie mark, which could be seen as the result of “dedication and effort”. Which they both realized means that all the prerequisites for this evil to appear have been met, so it could happen any time… minutes, hours, days, months, years… all are possible.
