Went through the first two weeks of drawing for therapy with my therapist. Seems to be working. Each day my subconscious has some shit it needs to process, and I process it through drawing. Then the rest of the day is less encumbered by my ‘garbage in garbage out’ subconscious. That doesn’t mean the drawings themselves mean anything - just that drawing them helps in some way. So I’m going to try to keep sitting down each morning and looking at a blank piece of paper until I see something floating on the page, and then I’ll draw that thing.
It’ll be interesting to see what tomorrow’s “thing floating on the page” will be. More butts would be nice, but I can’t try to control it. It just is.
