I mean the phrase itself is based on the “Ireland Is Full” slogan used by the far right over there, which is blatantly false in a country that still has not reached pre-famine population levels. But it being spray painted on an empty building really highlights just how absurd the phrase is and how nakedly racist it is.

It’s just standard supernationalism and fear tactics. The Equestrian elites want Equestria to have only ponies, so they most likely boarded up that apartment building and closed it to prevent foreign squatters.
