I don’t usually draw Ponies, but suddenly I thought it would be nice to learn how to draw them. I recently read Cupcakes fanfic and read Unlucky Day comic by Piesinful, and it really inspired me, so I decided to draw this for practice.
Here I decided to make an unusual colored border, as I usually don’t do. I also decided to try to make the background bright and saturated and make a bright yellow dialog cloud, inspired by the previously mentioned comic.
Personally, I really liked the result, before that I had been drawing ponies quite a bit. To be honest, I wasn’t very good at drawing it.
However, the more I draw them, the better I get. I started drawing in my own style quite recently, and before that I tried to imitate other people’s styles, until I was told that I could just draw in my own style to make it easier… At first, I was once again angry when I didn’t like my pony work, which I tried to draw in the Shinodage style and was simply advised to draw in my style… I refused, but secretly decided to give it a try… And it turned out quite well, very much so.
Since then, I’ve been trying to improve my style for pony characters, and now I’m here with this art. I hope you enjoy my work and me in my endeavors.
