you wanna see real asian cuisine, go to a donut place run by a tiny cambodian guy who survived the khmer rouge. idk how they do it, but they deepfry sugar and flour better than anyone else.

not sure about Georgia, but out in Cali, asian food is a fucking meme…. sushi shops are run by the worst japanese sushi cooks…. it’s more like ‘japanese fusion’ restaurants run by valley born millennials……
as for chinese food, it’s a fucking meme…. it’s all japanese and koreans running the chinese food places…. real chinese chefs are working at soul food kitchens, whipping up the best wet cabbage(coleslaw) and pork butts you ever seen.
Never understood the fuss around Waffle House, everything I bought there tasted like piece of plastic. Well, to be fair, most american food I tried had synthetic taste, at least in Georgia. Asian food was mostly OK, though.
