Legend of Skyros frame in progress, but I thought it looked good as a background as is, so I decided to post it for everyone to enjoy.
They might be really controversial in the season 10 comics (which I think are safe to consider noncanon given how many times it gave the canon lore the bird) and far from the most well written, but the designs are still really unique and fun to draw.
And in case you didn’t figure it out from the obvious hints, these beans are the six main heroes of the Legend of Skyros comic of my Fatal Eclipse AU. Though obviously they will be completely rewritten both to put them in an actual hero role and to fix a lot of the issues they had in the comics.
Also I can’t be the only one who sees them as a big colonialism sticker to the face. They’re literally the Elements of Patriotism in the comics and I feel each represent an area notoriously attacked by colonizers in the past: America (Morrigan), India (Mannah), South/Central America (Ceridwen), China (Taranis), Africa (Danu), and the Celtic Isles (Balor). That could just be my theorist brain, but it makes a weird amount of sense to it (oh my god, both of them involve being started by spreading “influence” to other lands that shoved old lore to the side and led to major conflicts down the line, I’M A GENIUS!).
