The problem is it came right after he supposedly reformed, as in was given a second chance. And what he did with the trio at the end was totally malice.

Although, seeing how villains are so humiliated in the series, I’d be against Chrysalis remaining a villain (I’m talking about an alternate world where changedlings don’t exist).
In the series, she’s a loser who lost everything because of her stupidity.
It would be better to switch her with Discord, because trickster doesn’t care about losing, but Discord’s friend is disgusting and dangerous.
I am confused, because the underlined portion makes it sound like you are calling Fluttershy disgusting and dangerous which… Doesn’t even seem like it would be a common descriptor by someone who considers her “worst pony” (I am sure there are some out there). I suspect this was a typo?

Well, if she didn’t have any precious stones (I don’t understand the point of fusing them into living chitin at all - if you can just use a chest pendant) and instead of a butt wing there was a normal tail - then I would like this design.
She bacame a caring, motherly, who likes to relax, enjoy life, and be happy, you know a soft side kind of girl.
BUT she can be stern, and if her changelings are in danger she can be a though queen that you don’t want to mess with, but she can be wise due to her experiences and what she has learned and can be a helpful and gentle guide.
(though still can be stern if she needs too)
But, this could work, too.
For me, I’d imagine she’d still be her old self, but she’s mostly more accepting of friendship then she was, and would be wiser.

So she was born, I would say there are other changelings out there but far away and chrysalis was the child of another queen that (once older) she flew away to create her own hive, like what an ants do or something.

The IDW origin story for Changelings was trash, but she really does look like a bog monster that abiogenesis’d from an evil tree, doesn’t she?
I continue to maintain, though, that the trash origin story was actually brilliant because it is 100% in character for Chrysalis to just spout a completely different bullshit origin to every horse who survives long enough to demand one.
