I fear this may be unhealthy for Starlight. :)
At a fundamental level she fails to understand what’s wrong about this.

Now you might think it’s alive because it’s breathing and blinking but the crucial detail here is that it isn’t thinking so you can basically make it do whatever you want. For example this one looks like fluttershy and I’ve made it so that the only thing she thinks about is me. It’s started to display some really unhealthy behaviors but that’s the fun thing! It’s not real so you don’t have to feel bad for it. When I get bored I just throw it in the furnace and make a new one.” Most of this is obscured or cut off. Twilight responds, “that’s wonderful starlight.”
