It’s a really lovely story about a very angry pegasus as well as a very meek one, and what it truly takes to embody kindness. I highly recommend it.
Creating the cover image was a challenge, but I enjoyed the many aspects of it, including coming up with a style for the critters that pushed things a bit more towards realism without diverging too much to fit in with the classic show design of the ponies. I’m happy with where I landed, at least. I also wished to keep a somber tone, but one that was still infused with some warmth and color, as we diverge from the light and bright tone of the show but keep the heart.
