The artwork depicts the moment when angels began descending from the heavens in small groups to “restore order” on the planet Astraconia. They killed demons and everyone who had contracts with demons. They also killed those who “smelled” of demons because they spent too much time around them.
In short, Nava became a random victim of one of these warrior angels. The angel radiated goodness and calm, despite the fact that he was about to kill her. Demons carry an aura of fear, while angels carry an aura of tranquility.
Because of this, Nava did not immediately understand what was happening or that she needed to call for help. Usually, mortals are unable to resist the aura of angels — it is too pleasant and soothing. But Nava could, because she had spent so much time around demons and quickly understood what was going on.
In the end, the angel almost killed her. But Rubilax arrived just in time and took her away. He had to appear in his demonic form in order to fully resist the angel.
After the battle, Nava was in complete shock. Her psyche was being pressured from both sides, and it was anything but pleasant. It felt as if someone were rummaging through your mind, forcing you to feel calm and panic at the same time. Two opposite sensations — and it drives you insane.
