Depends. Some of those Dex entries for the Fairy Pokemon are a little intense. And Grimsnarl is a Dark/Fairy goblin.

Maybe if you only know Disney fairies. Classical fairies of folklore had nothing in common with Tinkerbelle. The fae could be genuinely sinister and scary, to the point that many people would address them only as the “good people” or “The Gentry”. Changelings are a type of fairy who were left in place of human babies. That sounds quaint, until you hear stories of people murdering family because they thought they were changelings. Some folklorists suspect the changeling myth was used to justify killing neurodivergent / autistic children.

Psychic (for feeding on emotions and mind control), and Dark (because Evul, unless reformed) are also worth considering? And I think Fairy would only work for reformed ones?
In any case, if reformation is an OPTION, but not REQUIRED then, naturally, the evolution tree would need to fork.

I’m torn on Chrysalis’ final stage. She came out of a tree, so grass works for her. But should her final form be Grass/Bug or Grass/Fairy? She’s a bugpony, sure, but she’s also a Changeling, which is a fae. Decisions, decisions.
