Since I am unsure what exactly the patron is looking for in Sunny’s mane style since they sent me numerous reference with different hair styles and I wanted to confirm I had her overall build correct I included an overall body study as well as these mane styles options.
I also want to take a moment and comment about something that comes up frequently as a question when I post pieces like this; that is the question of why I often just leave the eyes white and frequently don’t put mouths on characters when I am creating studies like this?
First is that when I was in junior high I actually had a summer study/work job at a Broadway department store. In particular I was part of the floor display and promotions department, so I spent plenty of time setting up and taking down mannequins.
