Mlp: Rise of the Wishmaker full chirashi poster.
Trapped in an alternate world after making a shady wish to an evil tyrant, determined Alicorn princess Crystal Sketch Harmony must team up with an unlikely group of companions to save their kingdom.
Today, ladies and gentleman, a long-time dream of mine has finally come true: I made a chirashi (Or Japanese) movie poster. As you know, I have made quite a few posters before, but never to this degree or with this amount of research. For years, I have laid eyes many chirashi posters that I dare say are just downright gorgeous, from anime posters, to the Japanese posters of Western films. And today, I finally made one of my very own. Now I do want to deeply apologize in advance. I did do quite a bit of research into the Japanese language and how it is written before making this poster, but concern still lays with me of how accurate it is. I learned a few things along the way. For example, the different styles of Japanese. I chose to do my poster in the Katakana style of the language since that form is for foreign speak, and because most of the words and titles were able to translate well into it. I used some of the most accurate converters that I find to make sure that it was just right. But again, if it isn’t, I deeply apologize. Feel free to crucify me in the comments. ^^’But ultimately, this piece is meant to be a love letter to the art of movie posters as well as Japanese cinema.UPDATE:Made a few adjustments.
