This time, I used quite a different layer structure. It’s a little overengineered, but it works! It uses a bunch of Krita’s Clone and Erase layers. Clone layers are a unique feature of Krita, but I’m not so sure about the Erase blending mode. This is all required to have colored lineart. I made it so that lines are erased in the areas with more intense light. The downside of a complex layer structure is that given a pixel on an image, it’s hard to tell which layer contributes to it, and this increases the time to fix small mistakes, which I notice. I’m sure my approach is still not ideal, as I keep changing it literally every single time.
Also, I’ve noticed that Glory’s pose looks a bit stiff way too late. I saw it all the way through, but couldn’t name it exactly. I think she had a little more interesting expression on the sketch.
…And, I like how Google Translate roundtrips the title via Chinese to this:
Thing about this is that BJ is immortal (age wise) due to being in her clone body. At least she’ll have boo and maybe a few others around to help her in her eternal physical life. Also, from how trueblood wanted to bring back his wife and kids due to cloning. It probably was best not bring them back due to them becoming immortal the same way bj is. Dude should have just let his family lay to rest
