I made this huge Pinkie Pie to test out the idea of a plush pony with a brushable mane. I love all the very detailed, show-accurate sculpted hairstyles people have been making, but I felt the draw to create something in the spirit of the original toys, a mane you could go nuts styling and playing with. So giant Pinkie Pie was born!
She is SUPER soft, made out of the plushest faux beaver fur. It was really annoying to sew, but the quality’s totally worth it! Her mane is made from wig extensions (synthetic hair, so go easy on the heat when styling the mane). Her cutie mark is made from faux suede and minky- the balloons are sewn into the fur instead of appliquéd on, and the balloon’s ribbons are embroidered.
Her bright and shining eyes are made from vinyl with my own special technique. This is a truly epic piece for any pony fan! Pinkie wants to party with you!
