During her first year of service, a callsign eluded her… Up until a pilot in a rival squadron ended up calling her ‘Sweetheart’ over the radio. The scathing reply he received over the radio was only a prelude to being decked by her in person when they next met, and from that point on, the callsign stuck, much to her displeasure.
I wanted to make the arrows to either side of the quote red, as befitting her role as an antagonist, but alas, I couldn’t figure out how to do that.
