Not liking the IUD, I hope people will choose an alternate version with tubal ligation and iridescent belly-fur-tattoo, the Holo-Foil Package of Infinite Birth-Control Pills, or the Package of Infinite Self-Applying Condoms.
Also, the Wedding Rings of Infinite Faithfulness (sold by Cadance at the Crystal Empire) are a much overlooked item. The bonuses are undeniably huge, but so many players are such total scrubs that they can’t be bothered to grind up the required relationship-building points to be able to buy them, and just bail out when the initial romance buff wears off. They don’t seem to realize that the cyclical warm-fuzzies bonus is minor compared to the long-term devotion buffs that build over hundreds of levels. The “having a fight” debuff is nasty, but if you keep the devotion levels topped off is both breif and WELL worth the long-term buffs.
P.S. Also it is best to consider the Birth Control accessories as short-term timing controls. The “Foals” sub-system is utterly terrifying both in several ways, including the gold, but I have never met someone who genuinely regretted engaging with it. Go on! Jump in! Your sleep values with plummet, but your joy and fulfillment stat buffs MORE than make up for it!
Normal armor is mass produced by very skilled smiths. Some are very skilled to make a rare high quality plate armor. But there’s going to be one wizard out there who will craft the LEGENDARY MAID OUTFIT because sometimes you need your servant to be able to survive your dangerous tower/dungeon.
A pre-installed IUD feels like such a massive downside that the armour isn’t even worth considering.
