Well we did see that matchup in Daybreaker’s introduction (& only) episode.
“I never should have banished you to the moon; I should have destroyed you!” -Daybreaker shortly before defeating NMM
Though they were dream-constructs rather than the “real deal”, but the battle also took place in the dream realms where NMM should be stronger…
I think the power-gap is is still there, just inverted.
I wonder who’s more powerful. Cause Celestia needed the elements to banish Luna, meaning she couldn’t defeat her on her own. But as Daybreaker, maybe the gap in strength is closed.
