An image I threw together while reading Sinful Pie’s “Unlucky Day” comic once again.
It’s a “Cupcakes” AU comic where RD survives at the last moment, so there’s a whole lot of violence and gore at the very start.
But if one perseveres through that, there is a comic with a cool visual style, filled with wonderfully depicted emotions and believable reactions to a completely fucked situation. And I really like that it takes the time to show in detail the long, horrible and grueling aftermath such a shattering event would leave in it’s wake.
I like sad, emotional stuff.
(Again; I kinda threw this together real quick, mostly for my own sake, so the pose and perspective are kinda flat. But inherent in the comic’s rad looks and style; even this “plop some colors down and throw a shadow over the face” approach resulted in a fairly visually appealing image despite my laziness.
I like this comic a lot, so I feel like I should wait until I make a better image than this. But I’ll probably be lazy and never do that, so for now I give up and this one.)
