the goddess of night, co-empress of equestria, and one of the few naturally born alicorns left. luna is a powerful being, she rules alongside her cousin/sister, and is married to fleur de lis and king sombra of the umbrums. she spends many of her days protecting her subjects from nightmares, and granting wishes to those who pray to the stars for guidance or safehaven.

a model and champion runner, she’s had her hooves dipped in many a fields. her talent having to do with leadership, so with that fluidity in her talent, she’s been able to adapt very easily. she’s kindhearted, giving and snarky, often looking down on others but still kind. she’s a royalborn, who began dating and soon married the night queen and king of darkness when she was feeling particularly daring during a ball.

somber melody/sombra
he/him
a retired king, though still searching for his place in the world. somber is a quiet fellow who only wishes to bring good to his fellow umbrum and crystal ponies, though after getting dethroned a new millania ago, he’s settled into a quieter life. marrying his long time love, luna, and adding another mare into his life. one he found rather intruiging with her quick wit and daring personality.

eventide elegence

married young due to an early pregnancy, eventide did not get much of a change to start her life before she was married to atlas. it was a rough, rather uncaring marriage where she’d often attempt to reassert herself as his wife quite often. neither were happy together, they’d constantly fight, disregard their children, and blame each other’s misery on the other daily.

atlas

highly stubborn and far too thick headed, atlas was nor accommodating or kind in bringing up his children. he’d fought hard for his children to grow into their roles, though their rejection of his standards would make him grow to resent them. atlas growing up himself fit into his enviornment perfectly, enjoying a military like lifestyle while also asserting his dominance as the eldest brother. but when he’d found his one-night stand returning to him? he was suddenly locked into a lifestyle he was unfit for, and while he’d had the honor of enjoying nine solid years with them. he’d dropped and bailed with everything he could as soon as the oppertunity arose, a sort of mutal agreement with his equally as unhappy wife. the two silently nodding in understanding that they did not want this, leaving their ocean life, and moving far from each other, and their children.

she/they
obscurity is a stern, unflinching, stoic example in her family. one would very much akin them to a distant storm, still and slow, but you can feel an arise of thunder rumblings in the distance. they’re scary and agressive, on the surface, but in actuality she’s rather goofy and loving, especially with her family and frequently teases her younger siblings. she hopes to one day inherit her mothers power and throne, and make her parents proud.

venus ambience
she/it
a silent and not very present figure, venus much dislikes her role in the spot. prefering to spend its days asleep, wandering the subconscious dimensions and aiding the sleep of its subjects. venny may not look it, but she very much is hardworking, but hates being put in any sort of light. she’d much prefer to stay in the background, though it does loves its family, even if it doesn’t quite understand its older sister, she still would do anything for them.

golden com
he/him
seemingly inheriting his older sister’s stoic personality, golden is a serious and no nonsense, uptight stallion. he grew up in a harsh household, and tried his best to please his parents, though it never seemed enough. he’ll often push his limits to please others, penting up stress just to vent it later in,,,generally unheathy fashions. but nonetheless, golden is still hardworking and loyal. he wants to make those around him proud, and wants his brother to do the same. and it infuriates him that endymion “wastes” his potential by sleeping his days away, so every now and then. golden offers a gentle nudge to him in the form of a lecture or twenty.

ends hates being pressured to do,,,anything really. he wants to explore the world, he wants to document and explore new things, but with all the nagging for him to do great things since he’s the fourth prince of night? ugh,, he’d rather sleep then disappoint anyone, he’d never say it outloud, on purpose at least, but ends hates the idea of doing things and letting others down immediately. he has things that make him happy, but,,, it’s so hard to follow through on those things. especially if he starts big just to fall. so, in the meantime, sleep. sleep will do him good. maybe when he wakes up things’ll be better.
