10/10 Absolute Cinema! It deserves to win Best Picture this year for sure.
But jokes aside, I do feel like the show writers really should’ve handled characters like Mudbriar far better than they did. Because I didn’t really like him, but I could understand why others wouldn’t like him either.
Personally, I think that they should’ve gone and made any boyfriend for Maud to be kind of opposite of her, not necessarily a male Pinkie or Cheese Sandwich, but far more willing to show his emotions without seeming overbearing and such. I don’t know, I kind of like to think of it as the whole Jessica and Rodger Rabbit thing, like it’s just “He makes me laugh.” with Maud.
But I like the idea of Maud finding a stallion who just wants to make her happy, and Pinkie, Limestone, and Marble are all just suspicious of him because he seems so completely opposite of Maud for them to believe that he’s genuinely just cares for her or worse that he’s got some hidden scheme to him.
