“Gilda the Proud of the Dark Gryphons, also knowns “The Lion”, was brash, headstrong, stubborn, selfish, violent and could easily get irrited and angry, but most of all she was very proud, and only wanted to be and have the coolest of the cool. But she was also a brilliant strategist and unstoppable once she decided on a course of action!
She once defeated an enemy her fellow Ponyarch Rainbow Dash had sworn to defeat which led to a trade of blows between the two. They fought for a day and a night before they finally broke apart, Rainbow Dash, humored by the circumstances the two were fighting over, bursted into a laugh. The Lion was not amused. Seeing the first blow of this quarrel as treacherous, Gulda struck Rainbow Dash unconscious as she was laughing. The Space Hoof Ponyarch was carried from the chamber by her men, and when she had regained consciousness the Dark Gryphons had already left the planet to embark on another campaign. Dash swore she would avenge the slight to her honor, and to this day the two chapters fight honor duels in remembrance of this event, known as the Saga of the Lion and the Wolf. Some say these duels have brought mutual respect and a closer bond between the chapters.
When the time of Discord would be upon them, Gilda would be too proud to even consider treason, because treason is, not cool.”
