Is there a tag for people not giving Derpy a name? It’s happened often enough that I’d like to be able to search for it.

Look at it this way: Yes, they aren’t using the name Derpy. But they’re also going way, WAY out of their way to never call her anything else. A blank space on a list here, pictures of muffins on toy packages, and so on.
 
Think how incredibly easy it would be for them to just name her Bubbles or Ditzy and tell all the bronies to just deal. But they don’t. They don’t use the name Derpy because some people might take offense, but they’re still making the effort to NOT give her a name that isn’t Derpy.

They’ve copyrighted her name and use it sometimes. I think when FiM ends they’ll use it unabashedly.

I think it’s part not itting they made a mistake by censoring Derpy and part fucking with the audience.
