No she had no character at all, she had a few traits and some backstory but none of it was developed enough to be considered a personality in the first season, you are taking your headcanon as canon.
I can imagine a castlemaid having quite the quandary deciding whether to put a blanket over the princess and risk waking her… Then, as she slowly moves to cover the princess, the plushies turn toward her and attack.

Nice to know there’s someone else that prefers her old design. Her post-S1 color scheme is so saturated it’s unpleasant to look at. Plus this works better with her melancholic personality.
