There was one fic, where, instead of imprisoning Twilight in the caves, Not-Cadance continues to manipulate a brokenhearted and mentally unstable Twilight in ways that would, eventually, cause her to turn against everyone, including her own brother….
At least, that’s what the flash-forward prologue hinted at. Sadly, the author hasn’t updated in over a year and it’s pretty much incomplete. :/
