We have received several complaints from Equestrian citizens of situations where they became stuck trying to enter a building through a pet door. We urge all Equestrians to not attempt to use these doors, as they are typically too small. We reccommend that all pet door owners place signs above the pet doors to indicate that they are not for pony use, and a bill is being debated on the floor of Congress to require all pet door manufacturers to engrave a small “not for ponies” warning symbol on their products.
My dad knows a woman who got one of those cat doors that only opens if the cat going through it has the right electronic doohickey on its collar. Her neighbor’s cat learned it could get inside if it followed her cat closely enough, but then the second cat got stuck inside when the first cat went outside without it.
If this is true then I would avoid ever having a cat door in Equestria. I wouldn’t want anypony getting stuck in my door.
Though I’m sure Dashie would look cute being stuck like that it would quickly stop being cute once she starts screaming/crying (she like most ponies, panics easily) about how she may be stuck… forever!
