Until they have official names everyone can give them whatever names he or she likes. It’s not like that there’s a Fandom police runing around and arresting people for calling BG ponies by the “wrong” name. ;)
Look, let’s keep it simple.
This is Bruce, Bruce and Bruce.
Now, Gilda’s name is going to cause confusion, so mind if we call her Bruce to keep it clear?
@Epilatypus
The really small ones taking up a small fraction of their silhouette as manes and tails do, and which are two identical shapes in identical locations but swapped?
I’m not even going to try to memorize their names for a long time. I forsee it going the Tag-A-Long/Ginger Snap/Thin Mint route where we never settle on a single name. Or like how Bulk Biceps was neatly divided between that, Roid Rage and Snowflake until the episode gave him a canon choice.
a. dat lazy coloration, seriously these are ugly, both in color schemes and how they’re applied to the bodies
b. dat palette swapping. Yeah, bg ponies don’t have much body type variation, but their manes and tails take up a good 15+%* of their silhouette and vary quite widely.
this number fully itted to be yanked straight from my excretory orifice
Hoping to see more griffons in the future but yeah.
Dammit I posted as BG pony again
No, they’re on the Cloudsdale team.
Gilda III
Boy Gilda I
No Pooftas?

W-whatever. She’s still mine.
To compliment the Boston and French ones we already knew.
So we got a Russian, Danish, and an Italian griffon respectively.
Well, there too…
