@centar
Also, no offense, but if that was your intention then the perspective in this image could be improved. Snow Blitz is a bit taller than the bottom of the window and is clearly far taller than the toy box (see image below). Midnight is harder to judge, but I’m assuming he’s roughly the same size as Snow. Also, some of the lines on the right hand side of the image aren’t properly aligned, but that’s unrelated.
Hey quit fighting you two, weather they’re foals or not this is still a cute image. Actually given the circumstances they really do look like foal; the lack of cutie marks and the clear playfulness of the two, that isn’t to mention that standing up they only just reach the window and the top of the toy box. If they were adults, or even crusader age, they would at least be above it. Plus look at the size of the changing mat based on the rug; a foal’s play rug would only be big enough for two of them to sit on together, so laying down one would take up the whole thing. I think it’s cute Midnight, and I hope you get more adorable commissions.
@Midnight_Shadows
Most people searching or filtering images don’t care what the artist’s headcanon is. They care what’s actually shown in the image. I can draw a picture of fluttershy, it here, then insist that it should be tagged pinkie pie because it’s secretly pinkie pie wearing her fluttershy suit. In any sane world I would be ignored and the tags would be changed to reflect the image rather than my headcanon.
You don’t seem to understand that some people dislike the show’s style for foals and these are foals but in our idea of it. Sorry you don’t like it, No one asked you to, but I hate to break it to you, its the internet, and you’re going to see stuff you don’t like no matter what filter is on it.
@Midnight_Shadows
Let’s rephrase that then. If an artist draws a square but calls it a triangle, it should still be tagged as a square.
That said, if you want to incorrectly tag it that’s fine. It’s a minor inconvenience when I’m searching for images, but I don’t care enough to get into a tagging war over it.

Based on head-to-body ratio alone the characters in this image appear to be at least CMC age. Their size relative to the objects in the room (mainly the window) s this.
For reference, this is what a foal looks like in the show:
and this is an example of a stylised interpretation of a foal which is still clearly of the same age:
Note the very large head-to-body ratio in both cases.

They may have vastly superior immune systems or slight differences in mouth anatomy which reduce the risk of anything bad happening as a result of handling dirty diapers with their mouths. That would in turn lead to a reduced disgust response, since it wouldn’t be as heavily selected for by evolution.
Oops.
Midnight is a girl not a boy.

Anyway, it’s still a very good piece of art and I have faved it, despite my complaints. This is meant as purely constructive criticism.
It’s a good thing nobody was spitting insults here then, wasn’t it?
No problem, I hate people who come into the fandom of ‘Love and Tolerate’ and just spit insults at others.
Thank you for being so understanding, (I paid for this absolutely wonderful picture.)

Sigh IF you go to the source, you will find, that it says IN THE PICTURE DESCRIPTION, that they are foals so.

The picture was done of my OC, they are foals. That was specifically requested in the commission.
To be fair they are quite obviously bigger than foals, and the one is clearly changing the other.
