Eh, I’m sure they could reach some sort of solution. They do have similar personalities, so they may understand each other better than Flutterdash would.
I don’t think any ship is capable of sinking. Even if Flutters is paired up with a stallion as random as Thunderlane in the show, it really wouldnt affect anything. Flutterdash is a fanmade ship, nothing is preventing shippers from shipping the ship.
Let’s try not to start generalizing all shippers as people who think their ships are canon no matter what. For example, Flutterdash is my favorite ship, but I know that it will never be canon, and that a romantic relationship between them would probably fail hard anyway. Flarity and Appledash likely have a much higher chance of working out in the long run.
