“Raiderp” is an even better name parody than “Raiden Dash” and “Flutterraiden,” AKA the two other ponies who are commonly drawn as Raiden. However, I still think Rainbow Dash is best Raiden pony. Fluttershy works too since her “assertiveness” or psycho moments could count as comparable to Jack the Ripper.
But I generally accept that Twilight Sparkle is Snake and Rainbow Dash is Raiden. As for antagonists, I am also fond of Trixie as Liquid, Sunset Shimmer as Solidus Snake, and Lightning Dust as Jetstream Sam. Does anyone else have any favorite MLP/Metal Gear matchups?

Not to be rude, but I don’t think anyone actually considers that horrid Strider Returns game to be a sequel. Otherwise, Capcom would have never made Strider 2.

This is why I miss APM, as a complete non-gamer almost every single joke in these strips goes completely over my head. I enjoy the art style but every scrap of humor is now lost for me.
Funny thing is, in Part 3 of the Two Best Friends Strider Week special, Matt lamented the fact that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was essentially, what a next-gen Strider should have been.

Um… Both Strider 2s were official. They were just developed separately, as sequels to two versions of the same game.
