Wander lives to help others. If it gets to a point that everything he does fails, he could get to Pinkie levels of insanity from doing seemingly insane things to getting downright depressed.
 
One episode had him pretty much be the horse from Never Ending Story, complete with sinking in the mud.

The villain for Wander Over Yonder, Lord Hater, is awesome. If the show was just him trying to conquer the universe but something always going wrong, it’d be a great show. But Wander himself is just annoying.
