I can understand getting mad, but threatening her personally? That’s just uncool. Yes, I’m aware that PP is allegedly a pathological liar, but I’ve seen reactions on places like Horse News and Tumblr that were just way out of control.
So yes, I do believe people were overreacting. What people failed to realize, and still do, is that giving her attention only made her more powerful. If it weren’t for the massive backlash against her she wouldn’t have gained anywhere near as big a presence online.
