Oddly enough, not many people know that one of the shots in the seabreeze animation I made used traditional animation cels! That means I did my job correctly whoo hoo!!

I’ve never done traditional cels before.
and Im constantly trying to find ways for my own artform (animation) to financially iself. Like illustrators do with prints and t-shirts. Or comic artists selling a printed comic book. Selling these would help.
Needless to say, this is probably the first and final time i’m going to do traditional cels. I learned very quickly why the industry switched over to digital coloring.
So I guess i have to find an outside source to what I want to do. Hence, why my production times are incredibly long.
Why don’t I use puppets? or Tweens? Because im stubborn and I really do find immense joy drawing the characters. I’m at peace when animating.

I draw every frame. The only difference using a computer vs useing paper is I can CTL+Z Which I rarely use.
For some reason I still attempt to brush away eraser shavings on my tablet when im done erasing a line….
how do you animate normally then, say in that long ass animation you are making, pastacon or something?
