@Abrams Agreed. SOAD are not that heavy to be metal. But I disagree on Tenacious D being metal.
For the hell of it, I can’t come up with a better band for the CMC, besides, many got into metal or at least rock thanks to them , so it fits right, regardless of them being glam.
Also, Celestia would be a fan of Belenos and Rarity would be a fan of Rhapsody of fire or Septic Flesh. Calling it , fuck all y’all.
@Ponyra:
GnR, HIM, and Tenacious D are at borderline. GnR - Glam (I know, I know it stands from “Gay L.A. Music” according to Dave Mustaine) HIM is considered as “metal” too, but here I don’t really know why, and Tenacious D… well “The Metal”. And maybe you are right about CMC, but SOAD is even lesser metal than GnR(solos anyone?) and CMC Really have Appetite For Destruction.
>Implying HIM ,GnR and Tenacious D are metal
Actually, no. That is a useless discussion as well as pointless. Although I think Fluttershy would fit better with Gojira, Pinkie with Children of Bodom (y’know ,skeletons in the closet?) and the CMC with SOAD.
I REJECT YOUR REALITY AND SUBSTITUTE MY OWN.
“When do you think we’ll get our hands on the album?
I’m not really sure. It’ll be ready when it’s ready. We’re not under the same clock as we used to be. I in the 80s we were banging out a record almost every year, and that was on top of putting in a world tour. We have the luxury now, if you want to call it that, of taking our time. And that’s just because that’s the way it is. We’re just as eager to get this done as ever, but we do it at a slower pace. It’s that British thing, you know? [Laughs] It’s that monarchy thing. But, I hope it’ll be out next year. My gut tells me it’ll be out next year. You know what, 2013, let’s go for it. Let’s look forward to that moment for another Priest record for everyone to bang their heads to.”
“In an August 2011 interview with Billboard, Halford explained that he and Tipton ‘have about 12 or 14 tracks completely mapped out’ for a new studio album. He went on to say that four of those were already recorded and mixed, and suggested a new album should be out in 2012.”
That may have had complications due to the date, but still.
My favorite albums are Defenders of the Faith and Nostradamus in their near-entirety. Screaming with Vengeance has a lot of good songs, too.
I only got interested in them fairly recently, though, so I haven’t been to any of their live stuff, but I’m planning to if they play near my area.
I approve this so much.
And it’s Master of Puppets, to boot! :D!
HIM is not metal.

Now, who’d be an Iron Maiden fan?

HORY FOK.
That fits perfectly for some reason!!

Either way, I’m a patient enough guy to wait another year.

Well, damn.
At least, they’ll release a new album this year.
There was Farewell tour this year… And “Riding on the Wind” really suits Dash.

BROHOOF! I’ve seen them twice live… Album selected mostly because of “Riding on the Wind” song.
I can honestly see the similarities, but I’m a little rustled.
I couldn’t find template with Discord…
