The pony on the left was identified much later as an adaptation of an OC by Heilos, whose name is Harmony, as she was created as an interpretation of what we’ve since identified as the Spirit Of The Tree Of Harmony.
The difference between Lady Harmony and Treelight Sparkle is that Lady Harmony and her many alternate interpretations at the time were developed well prior to Season 9 or any previous, CANON indication that the Tree Of Harmony was sapient.

As for the adaptation of Lady Harmony that appears in The Bridge, she’s more suffering a Deus Exit Machina at present, which leaves her unable to do much, while specifically NOT killing her off.
