EQG have it’s own series? Eeeeeeh no thanks.
Also the reason is probably because it’s not as popular and having the creators work on 2 projects (EQG and MLP) would be too much and would take too much time to make.

You can relax. It’s all but confirmed that the movie will be made with Toon Boom software, which means 2D.
Agreed, though I doubt they will, EQG was never CG’d so I doubt this will be either also it’s a lot more expensive.
