Totally. As long as the personality matches the personality/likes and dislikes on the reference sheet.
So for example, one of Venus’s dislikes is being dominated. If you commissioned Venus being dommed you’d want to make sure the artist depicted her as not enjoying it (at least not at first). basically try staying in character.

Nothing confirmed yet but someone else is thinking of drawing him too, so we’ll see how that comes out. Pretty neat to make a character others are interested in drawing. And for the record, by all means I like the idea of people drawing my oc’s
