I actually got in an argument with a person here who kept trying to claim Andy “hates” Spike, just ‘cause he made some silly/random drawings poking fun at him. (Nevermind the fact, he made fun of every other character he draws too, including his favorite ones. Heck, I get accused of hating a lot of characters I like, sense I poke fun at ‘em in my fanart, as well. So I know how it is. Some people can’t grasp the term “harmless satire.”)
 
I like Spike, but seriously, some of his fans are getting way to overprotective of him… (Heck, some try to accuse the show staff of “hating” him, and such too.)

Regardless, I see people hate on him anyways, just for being associated with her, (or for being associated with the comic/IDW in general) or because they don’t get his sense of humor. (As I pointed out already.) So he has his haters too.

I’ve seen quite a few people complain about Andy Price, most notably Spike Justice Warriors who think how he draws Spike is proof he feels he’s “better” than the MLP:FiM artstyle.

Nobody has an issue with Price, really. He’s just Cook’s partner, and they have issue with her writing, which is justifiable in some cases.

It’s hard to believe there was a time we could discuss the comics here without so much controversy/hater-aid.
 
I mean, I’m not keen on everything the comics do either (like say making Iron Will a “villain,” when he wasn’t really one in the first place) but I’m not whining constantly every time they’re brought up.

I don’t get the Andy Price hate, he’s one of the better comic artists.  
(Yet, I never see much critique over Agnes’ art, and while her art is a li’l cute, it’s honestly not as good as his. Plus, she can only do like the same 6 facial expressions most of the time, and she tends to make snouts look off sometimes.)  
I also like Jay Fosgitt’s art too, even though it looks different. (I think that’s actually one of the reasons I like it.)
