You’d think that hearing Sombra talking so blithely about handing over a nation’s worth of innocents to be food for the changelings might have started Radiant Hope on wondering if she’s just perhaps started backing the wrong horse.
I think everyone somehow forgot that they’re arguing what’s canon and what isn’t on a children’s cartoon with colorful creatures that has more continuity errors in show than most cartoons I’ve seen. Think y’all are taking it waaaaaaay too seriously, and forgetting these shows are meant to be for entertainment, to sell toys and nothing more. So, going by the comments and what I see here, the comics are terrible, right? Because all the evidence I’ve seen has indicated that they are terrible.
No the OOC moment was that they meet even bothered to ask what was wrong Twilight and why she was feeling that way. Not one of her friends tried in the least. I can understand them leaving her but not even trying to figure out what was wrong and and siding with this stranger they don’t even know almost instantly. So much for her “friends” if they abandon her that easily.

It wasn’t out of character. Twilight was acting possessive and crazy, and couldn’t her accusations with coherent evidence. Even she doubted herself and apologized to Cadence/Chrysalis.

Twilight has a habit of jumping the gun, like when she tried to study Pinkie Pie or when she thought she was tardy.
