The third went back to its roots and actually tried to recapture the hamminess of the first, but the 2nd was incredibly budget and forgettable.
The CG movie with Spartans and Solid Snake was pretty awesome.

Pony Space Mareines naturally belong to a completely different kind of totalitarian military complex than the Imperium (Friendship is probably involved), and are almost certainly subject to very different training and conditioning than the Adeptus Astartes (moar Friendship!).
