From what I know, we do have free health care and stuff, plus a lot of people who’ve moved here from other countries have said that they feel a lot more welcomed than they were before. And I get what you’re talking about. Just one thing though, I haven’t met a lot of Canadians who say ey, so I really don’t get where that came from. I can understand Americans who moved to Canada or other Canadians doing it as a joke, but other than that I’ve never really seen how that became a thing.

This is a piece of shit, really. It was hilarious to make, but it wasn’t hard nor is it particularly clever. It’s like meme populism. I just write stereotypes and innuendos and headcanon and about as many hate it as love it.

Most likely did that because of other people’s stereotypes for Canadians. Still doesn’t mean that all Canadians in reality have accents like that.

Please excuse me if I offend you, but I’m not sure if that’s meant to be sarcastic or if it’s supposed to be sincere. I have high functioning Autism and it’s really difficult to understand whether or not something’s said in sarcastically or genuinely, sorry.

Canadians don’t have accents. It’s just a lot of non-Canadians make stereotypes of people from Canada having accents when really, Canadians and Americans both talk in almost the exact same way. Trust me, my boyfriend is American and other than us being opposite genders, our “accents” sound identical.

Oh, no, you were correct, it was sarcasm. It was the Canadian word for sorry and the South Park Canadian word for friend.
