My Dad - a surgeon - once operated on someone who came in the Emergency room ‘cause his wife shot him from across the living room with buckshot. The rounds failed to even pierce his spinal fluid sack, even though it was across a room and in the back…
Hurt like a freakin’ mother, I’m sure - I’ve taken an airsoft BB to the nose and that was bad enough - but not quite as lethal as you’d think.
Fortunately, for DT… Jerk she may have been, she’s a cute child, she dun deserve no killin’. Or the immense pain of getting shot, for that matter.

Well she did get redeemed in Season 5 so I don’t see a reason to shoot her now
