Anon-kun you Hasdrone bot, what are you trying to say? Just because it’s a little girls cartoon they should just stick to episodes about tea parties, galas and fashion shows and that they shouldn’t go on adventures and have exciting episodes?

oh well, I’m willing to endure starlight’s presence for the sake of this show.
I like it to much to let one character ruin it for me.
hell maybe she’ll only show up for a few episodes a season, like discord.
maybe sunburst will be such a good character that she’ll become more likeable just by being paired up with him because I’m a sucker for good love stories.
It’s best to accept the inevitable and try to find a silver lining then let it piss you off and ruin your enjoyment of the show.

Totally. If this wasn’t a little girl’s cartoon, and was real life, I bet she would be imprisoned for life. I’m not even talking about the almost destroying Equestria with the stupid time spell. I’m talking about her imprisonment of a princess, and then doing the equivalent of performing lobotomy on her and her friends. Not to mention the community she attempted to make with a completely different ideology than the state’s, which she enforced via brainwashing and no-doubt illegal magic that stole cutie-marks.
Heck, the only defense I can find for her not getting imprisoned is that Discord and Luna got off Scott free… Until you they both served over a millennium of time.

Because she was created to replace sunset shimmer.
That’s the entire point of her existence, to fill that sixth ranger slot that sunset herself is unable to fill due to her role in equestria girls. whether this is a good thing or bad thing is a matter of opinion.
My opinion? there are plenty of craters on the moon that starlight should be filling right now instead.

Hope for the best, but expect the worst. I’d say a fair amount of people have “expecting the worst” down pretty well this time around. I don’t think that’s bad, though. I think it’s better to be surprised than disappointed.

That youtube preview was really boring. I don’t give a crap how cute they look or that the baby can sneeze lasers, I want a good story like last season’s premier. It was dark and perilous and it completely shook off the image MLP has of being a little girls cartoon. This is the first premier that I am least excited about. This could not be any more of a little girls cartoon! Baby’s, cots, mobile’s. blankets. Not interested. Brainwashing cutie mark removing pseudo-Marxist cults? Now, that’s interesting!
OK, that’s understandable. At least Sunset Shimmer knew what she was doing and maintained no delusions.
