I’m going to be honest and say that I don’t particularly care for any of the Pie sisters, but Maud is my favorite and Limestone is my least favorite. Tsunderes just don’t do it for me. It’s a stupid archetype and I despise it, but that’s just like my opinion, man.
shrug I like them both…although Limestone beats Marble by a long short, because again, MORE Character instead of being a blatant clone of Fluttershy, if not worse.
Limestone seems a lot better since well..she has personality. While it’s her always going “DON’T TOUCH MY ROCK’, She at least has some personality other than.. “Hmmm hm”.
Likewise with me. I personally find shippings with characters that I find you’d never expect to see shipped together (Case and point: I adore Maudwich because of how out there it is). And I agree as well with how well the shipping can be executed in artwork and personality.

I personally don’t like FlutterMac or MarbleMac either, it’s kind of a boring pairing in my opinion.
Reason why I ship things that don’t really make sense is because they seem interesting as a pair or someone makes it interesting (FouDubulbe’s Mauxie for example). There’s also the fact that they can seem visually appealing (I saw a Fleur de Lis X Coco Pommel once, beautiful artwork and just by appearance, they matched nicely) but in the end it comes down to how I imagined them to interact.
I mean I get shippings, I have my own shippings myself, but there has to be some sense for it, and not just be all “Oh it’s because they’re similar”. It’s why I cannot stand MarbleMac/FlutterMac. No offense to those shippers, but I just find it bland and uninteresting, especially when the justification is “OH THEY’RE SILENT SO THAT MEANS THEY LIKE EACH OTHER” and “OH THEY SAID “HMMMM” AND ’EYUP”, SO THAT MEANS THEY CAN SCREW”.

Crackshipping is a thing, and “they’re cute” can be a legitimate excuse to ship. Look at Mauxie, OctaScratch, LyraBon and DoctorXDerpy, all crack.
Shipping isn’t supposed to be serious, it’s just fun, sure there are other reasons to ship, like their interactions with each other and such, but headcanons and imagination do that for some people.
Basically. I once commented about it and mentioned a pairing that for me makes sense (which I most mention here because, it’s Derpibooru. Everyone’s opinions are better than others - . - ) and someone LITERALLY tried to defend MarbleMac and all I said was “…I…I don’t even..”
