I don’t know mates, those shopkeepers in “Putting Your Hoof Down” were a real bunch of assholes. Without Celestia to keep everypony in line, all it would take is some pony like the Flim Flam brothers to spark inequality.
Well, somepony’s better off, somepony’s worse off - but nopony is really oppressed. They don’t have to work for 12 hours a week in hellish conditions for pitiful amounts of money.
That’s just it though; there still seem to be clear class division but it seems, thus far, that not many ponies seem disenfranchised or abused by their circumstances. Thus, the galvanizing force of communism, empowering the powerless worker to rise up against the elite and rich, doesn’t seem necessary.
I’ve yet to see many pony child labor factories or workhouses yet in Equestria after all.
@professor_of_hoers
Pretty funny, considering that there appear to be clear social classes in spite of the general knowledge that everypony has to work together.
Lucky Twilight, you live in an ideal world under a benevolent monarchy and thus the proletariat has no impetus to overthrow the bourgeois or reign in decadent excess.
If that’s what you say when you read all those communist books, well, you selfish capitalist sucks.—Sent from china
They’re already dead lol XD, but I know what you mean and I share the feeling.
In Soviet Russia, the Party can always find YOU!
BTW, the Communist Manifesto is much shorter than that.
That’s because they’re well-hidden.
